Tom Cruise Should Take a Break

In June Tom and his wife of five years Katie Holmes filed for divorce. Admitting that he was 'deeply saddened' by her choice, the actor seemed to be coping well. Tom Cruise's high-profile marriage to Katie Holmes is officially over, just a month and a half after the couple separated.
A New York judge signed off on the final judgement.

Holmes sensationally lodged the legal papers to end her five-year marriage in June, despite the couple's prior portrayal of themselves as the perfect Hollywood family.

It is not known how the couple's fortune, believed to be worth around $275 million, was divided.
While her own career is substantial, it is dwarfed by A-lister Cruise's huge success at the box office.
It is clear both Cruise and Holmes are already moving on with their lives.


However pictures of Tom from last month have now shown what the strain of the collapse of his marriage has had on him, as he had shed 14lbs.


Speaking to Grazia a source said: 'Tom's friends and family have urged him to take a break, but he has brushed off their concern'.
