Amanda Bynes was officially charged with a DUI and the former child star then went straight to the top to plead her case. She sent a message to Barack Obama’s Presidential campaign over Twitter, claiming she is innocent.Amanda was arrested on April 6 after she clipped a police car while driving in West Hollywood at 3am.
According to the transgression complaint the starlet also purportedly refused to take a breathalyzer or drug test when she was pulled over.
She was accused last month of hitting a car in Hollywood and then fleeing the scene, but she told police she did not feel the impact and was not ticketed.
