Michael Jackson's father’s stroke
Michael Jackson's father Joe has suffered a stroke.
A spokeswoman for the 84-year-old said he suffered a mild stroke.
Angel Howansky said he went to a Las Vegas hospital late Wednesday night when he had trouble standing up and walking.
Mr Jackson's wife, Katherine, is reportedly on her way to Las Vegas to be with him.
He has maintained a residence there for many years while his wife lives in Los Angeles, where she cares for the late pop star's children.
Miss Howansky says Jackson has had small strokes at least twice before this.

Mariah Calls Nicki a B****
Nicki Minaj is said to have threatened Mariah Carey after her American Idol co-star called her a 'b****' - it is now being claimed.
Show bosses cancelled filming in Charlotte, North Carolina for the day on Tuesday after a huge blow up between the pair where Nicki allegedly threatened and swore at Mariah.
But witnesses insist Hero hitmaker Mariah started it, according to reports.
'Nicki Minaj walked off of set because Mariah Carey kept making jabs at her.
'Nicki’s manager and team convinced her to come back to the show. Mariah kept at it and called Nicki "a b****" and then proceeded to cuss her out. Producers had to stop filming and call it a night.'
It was previously reported how Nicki fumed she was sick of her co-judge, labelling Mariah her 'f*****g highness'.
Mariah was said to be unhappy with Nicki joining American Idol because she was worried it would turn the reality TV programme into a 'freak show'.
During their first taping of the talent reality show the pair were said to have talked over one other in a bid to be the most vocal judge.
The drama began when 29-year-old Super Bass singer Nicki starting critiquing a contestant, but despite it being her moment to be in power, Mariah, 42, couldn't resist butting in on several occasions.

Halle Berry faces the same tragic fate as Princess Diana if she moves to France said Gabriel Aubry's attorney in L.A. court . Halle and Gabriel are mixed up in a court battle over whether Halle should be allowed to move to France with the ex-couple's daughter Nahla. Halle believes the kid will be better protected from aggressive paparazzi in France to the country's strict anti-pap laws.
But Gabriel's attorney argued France is the same country where Princess Diana was killed in a wild paparazzi car chase back in 1997.
Under French laws, paparazzi can't photograph celebrities who don't want their pictures taken even if they're out in public.
Photogs who violate the law can be sued for millions, and if they harass the celebrity they can be criminally prosecuted.
Mariah Carey hung up on Nicki Minaj
Mariah Carey was less than impressed when she found out that Nicki Minaj is in talks to join her on the judging panel for American Idol TMZ states, Mariah hung up the phone when she was first told about plans to introduce Pound The Alarm singer Minaj to the panel.
Mariah, 42, was less than impressed to find out that 29-year-old Nicki is the top candidate for the role.
The news comes amid claims that American Idol bosses are struggling to decide on the best way to sort out the panel.
