Mariah Carey hung up on Nicki Minaj

Mariah Carey was less than impressed when she found out that Nicki Minaj is in talks to join her on the judging panel for American Idol TMZ states, Mariah hung up the phone when she was first told about plans to introduce Pound The Alarm singer Minaj to the panel.

Mariah, 42, was less than impressed to find out that 29-year-old Nicki is the top candidate for the role.

The news comes amid claims that American Idol bosses are struggling to decide on the best way to sort out the panel.
One option is that if Randy Jackson leaves his role as judge on
Keith Urban, Enrique Iglesias and Brad Paisley are among the names being suggested for the male judge roles.
